Crystal City, JBG SMITH, and Curbside Kitchen are thrilled to partner on a Sustainable Food Truck Program that will be working toward eliminating styrofoam and encouraging composting… making Crystal City an even better place to live and work.
On Thursday, July 25th we are kicking off our 1st Food Truck Thursday Green Day, where our amazing food truck vendors, Roro’s, Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company, New Gourmet Delight, and Fractured Prune Doughnuts Leesburg will be providing their delicious cuisine in compostable containers with compostable eating utensils. The BID will be collecting compost on site so we encourage you to come eat on the plaza or bring your container (and any other office compostables) back down after lunch. We will be accepting any compost between 11am-2pm, so if you miss Tuesday’s usual collection at the Farmer’s Market, bring it on down and we’ll be happy to take it!⠀
